Twenty 8 Twelve Party Dresses JUST IN

How excited are we now that the party dresses from Twenty 8 Twelve have arrived and are ready to rock it around the Christmas tree. Straight from London Fashion Week runway we have the stunning one shouldered Freda dress that is also seen modeled by Sienna Miller in our lookbook, so check it out. It features a pleated waist band that gives you the tinniest waist, a full skirt and side pockets and is finished with the cutest waterfall frill detail on the back. 

The Elena dress is made from 100% silk so feels luxurious against the skin. The scrowl neck, covered sleeves and relatively lose floaty fit are also great for those nights when you don´t want to bare all but still stay feminine. I have already grabbed this one for myself and love it. I wear it with a black belt and little shoe booties and it looks great.

The silk Coco dress is the steal of the season because you get 3 dresses for the price of 1. It comes with a thick silk sash that can be worn in a bow as a belt, left off completely so that the dress sits in a beautiful a-line or draped around your neck as a silk scarf! Love love love them all!

 

 

Burberry wins Brand of the Year at the ACE Awards last night

Burberry was honoured as Brand of the Year at The Accessories Council Excellence (ACE) Awards in New York last night. The ACE Awards celebrate those who have had a positive impact on the accessories industry as well as recognising designers and design houses who have made outstanding achievements in accessories design. 

Agyness Deyn accepted the award on behalf of Burberry Creative Director Christopher Bailey at the awards ceremony held at Cipriani 42nd Street in Manhattan. Loved her look! Black on black with even bigger and blacker lashes! Other guests at the Burberry hosted table included Tom Guinness and Daisy Lowe all of whom wore Burberry (or course).

First Christmas Party Outfit of the Season: Acne LBD & Celine Englestad Earrings of Course!

I know its only November but on Friday night we had our first Christmas party of the season! What does one wear? As I´m not quite into the full Christmas spirit YET, my outfit choice defaulted to a trusty LBD. When all else fails you can´t go wrong with a little black dress and some Celine Englestad bling. So I wore the long sleeve Acne Would Dress with 80 denier black opaque tights, my trusty Chanel watch, Celine Engelstad Swarovski Crystal and Freshwater Pearl Hoop Earrings, and finished it all off with a pair of suede shoe boots from H&M. To keep me toasty from the cold I wore my most recent vintage purchase; the most fabulous cream fur coat. I love it! I have been looking for one like this for a while so when I stumbled upon this one at Spitalfield Market (London) in the summer, it was love at first sight!  

Here are some pics from my hubby and I´s private pre-party that turned into a rather funny photoshoot! I got my own back though and made him do a few spins in his kilt!  He is half Scottish after all!

I am just back from a few fabulous days in Copenhagen. I love everything about this fashionable city but the highlight was definitely viewing the Spring Summer 2010 collection by Spanish shoe designer Pedro Garcia. I can´t say much more than STUNNING - GORGEOUS - AMAZING - I WANT THEM ALL NOW! However unfortunately we have to wait until February next year. Fashion Mixology are very proud to have this luxury shoe brand coming into the boutique and even prouder to be the only online boutique throughout Scandinavia.
